Day 1:
0830hrs
Meet and greet with your driver/guide, depart for Selous Game Reserve with picnic lunch
1500hrs Arrive Selous Mbega Camp and relax for an hour
1600hrs Afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River; those who experience this safari can verify the fact that this mighty river boasts africa’s highest concentration of hippopotamus.

Dinner and overnight at Selous Mbega Camp.

Day 2:
0800hrs
After breakfast, full day game drive of Selous Game Reserve, Africa’s largest sanctuary, with an area of 54,600kms. Selous is bigger than Denmark and 4 times size of Serengeti. It has the world’s largest number of big game – elephant, buffalo, rhino. It also contains wildebeest, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, hippo, leopard and lion. There are about 350 species of bird life.

Dinner and overnight at Selous Mbega Camp.

Day 3:
0800hrs
Morning boat safari. boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Bird-life can be seen along the banks of the river.
1230hrs Lunch at the camp
1500hrs Afternoon walking safari. This allows an intimate impression of African bush and wildlife, which is unforgettable, and brings you closest to pristine nature.

Day 4:
0800hrs
Another full day game drive of Selous Mbega Camp.

Day 5:
0830hrs
After breakfast, drive to Mikumi National Park (picnic lunch on the way).

Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp / Mikumi Wildlife Camp.

Day 6:
0800hrs
After breakfast, depart for Ruaha National Park via Iringa town.
Stop in Iringa for lunch.

PM Afternoon game drive of Ruaha National Park.

Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge. The lodge is constructed on and around a rocky kopje overlooking the great Ruaha River. The camp provides comfortable accommodation and good food while blending into its surroundings to enable visitors to feel themselves a part of the wild. Both the dinning “Banda” and the bar, in elevated position above the river combine comfort and coolness together with the most spectacular view.

Day 07:
0800hrs
After breakfast, full day game drive of Ruaha National Park. Ruaha, with an area of 10,300sq.km. is the second largest park, and second largest elephant sanctuary in Tanzania. The great Ruaha River which flows along its entire eastern border, creating spectacular gorges and scenery, features a large number of hippos and crocodiles. The wide variety of animals include Greater and Lesser Kudu, Roan and Sable Antelope. Birdlife is rich, with over 370 species recorded.

Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.

Day 08:
0800hrs
After breakfast, depart for Mikumi National Park.

PM Afternoon game drive of Mikumi National Park, which is rich in wildlife and contains buffalo, elephant and lions. Also found are zebra, impala, warthog, hippo and giraffe.

Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp / Mikumi Wildlife Camp.

Day 09:
0830hrs After breakfast, depart for Dar es Salaam, arrive Dar es Salaam by noon.
