Day 1:
0830hrs Meet and greet with your driver/guide, depart for Lake Manyara.
1230hrs Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel
1400hrs Afternoon game drive of Lake Manyara National Park, with the possibility of sighting the famous tree-climbing lions. Here you can see a variety of habitats and diverse animals and birds.
Witness the large flock of flamingoes descending on Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel. Day 2:
0800hrs After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch
Afternoon game drive of Serengeti National Park. Here can be found the largest concentration of plain animals – 4 million and five hundred species of birds. You can hope to see predators chasing their prey and enjoying their kill, and the scenery is spectacular. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge Day 3:
0800hrs After breakfast, short game drive in Serengeti National Park
1100hrs Depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered.
Picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Day 4:
0800hrs After breakfast, descend down the crater for half day game viewing. Here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. Drive across the dense forest and near the soda lake and enjoy viewing a variety of bird life. Ascend to the lodge from the 2000ft. deep crater.
1230hrs Depart for Arusha with picnic lunch, arrive Arusha late evening. |
